Welcome to Pike County Regional Airport/Hatcher Field. Located in the beautiful hills of Eastern Kentucky the Pike County Regional Airport/Hatcher Field is owned by the Pike County Fiscal Court and is operated by the Pike County Regional Airport Board.
The land for the Airport that was donated to construct the Pike County Regional Airport - Hatcher Field by Dr. Walter Trimble Hatcher Jr., a retired dentist, banker, coal businessman and a member of the airport board. The land used to construct the airport was a reclaimed area surface mine.
The Pike County Regional Airport is a general aviation airport that has ILS/DME instrument approach. We have over 20 aircraft based at the airport, with fuel service.
